CLASSES
Exciting news! We are now offering non-contact group boxing workshops and rolling classes in North Devon and Exeter.
Workshop programmes
We are excited to now offer two group therapy-informed workshops, the details of which you can find below:
‘Find Your Inner Warrior’- six week group workshop programme
Price: £180 (£30 per 1.5 hour class)
Through a series of six classes offered on a weekly basis, we will work with your nervous system to help you find your inner warrior, take up space, express yourself, ask for what you need, set boundaries and build on self-care. We will work towards this by integrating non-contact boxing techniques with psychological skills drawn from Internal Family Systems, Schema Therapy and Compassion Focused Therapy. All classes are facilitated by a Psychologist and non-contact boxing coach (Dr George Capone).
A Whatsapp group will also be available, offered as a motivational peer space where people can ask questions, check in about strategies practiced outside of class and shared what had worked/has not worked for them. The group is there to help people who join our classes apply skills they learn to their everyday lives, giving you more bang for your buck! Head over to our schedule page on our website to sign up for a free consultation for more information and/or to book your place. Workshops will be capped to eight people per class to ensure all individuals have dedicated time and focus from the facilitator.
‘The Power Within’- six week group workshop programme
Price: £180 (£30 per 1.5 hour weekly class)
We are very excited to now offer a NEW six week workshop programme focused specifically on building emotional resilience through non-contact boxing and psychological techniques. While we now know martial arts, such as boxing, can increase emotional resilience and confidence for people, this workshop takes things a step further by integrating the knowledge of Polyvagal Theory to super charge the benefits gained from boxing as a sport. This workshop has a particular focus on building our ability to regulate emotions in our nervous system by increasing awareness of the body and experimenting with skills to move more fluidly through freeze, flop, fight/flight states. We will also spend time finding ways to anchor ourselves in feeling both safe and connected when spending time alone and with others.
Similar to our flagship workshop above, a Whatsapp group will also be available, offered as a motivational peer space where people can ask questions, check in about strategies practiced outside of class and shared what had worked/has not worked for them. The group is there to help people who join our classes apply skills they learn to their everyday lives and build connections with others. Head over to our schedule page on our website to sign up for a free consultation for more information and/or to book your place. Workshops will be capped to eight people per class to ensure all individuals have dedicated time and focus from the facilitator.

How many people will there be?
There will be anywhere from three to 10 people at one time in our classes.
What makes these classes different from a regular boxercise class?
Our classes are trauma informed. This means we promote the following values:
Safety - Safety is a priority in our classes. We aim to support people in finding safety by taking each activity at their own pace, all suggestions of skills and invitations to share your experiences are optional. We hold space for people to be vulnerable and share personal experiences if it feels right for them, but there is no pressure. This is with the caveat that we keep conversations in the group focused on the present where possible (this is not group therapy). Ultimately, we support you to embrace your inner playful child and have fun!
Trust - We aim to be transparent with our plans and follow through on any promises. Our classes follow a simple structure and routine, providing you with a predictable rhythm you can count on.
Support - We offer a WhatsApp group with our classes, providing you with a peer-led space to share tricky moments, celebrate times of courage and change, as well as random memes, powerful playlists...the list goes on!
Collaboration - We invite your feedback, encourage you to listen to your body and make decisions that feel good for you. One example of this might be choosing an exercise you'd like to try.
Respect - We hold the space for you to reconnect with your power by tuning in to your body, saying 'no', when needed, asserting your needs and setting boundaries. This could mean opting out of an exercise, or taking a break.
