Welcome to the Warrior Women Project

A community where vulnerability, strength and healing unite.

Welcoming all women.

If you identify with womanhood, you belong here.

Let’s BOX!

At the Warrior Women Project, we’re cranking up the volume on bold self‑expression. Think ‘Bettie bangs’ meets leather gloves—this isn’t just boxing, it’s a roaring rally cry for authenticity. We ring the bell on non‑contact, bag‑and‑pad sessions designed exclusively for those who identify as women, so you can channel your inner rockabilly rebel without ever stepping into the ring for a spar.

Ride the Rhythm of Your Nervous System

We’ll help you tune in to your body’s rhythm—helping you unleash tension through every punch and pivot. Just like the wild riffs of a ’50s guitar solo, you’ll learn to release pent‑up emotion, sharpen your confidence, and stake out your personal boundaries with every jab and hook.

Fierce Compassion: Yin Meets Yang

We’re all about that dual‑fuel energy—fierce enough to stand your ground, compassionate enough to stay true to your heart. It’s the perfect fusion of power and grace, like a hot rod polished to a bright shine.

One to one therapy

1:1 Therapy with Georgie: Unleash Your Inner Rebel

Beyond the boxing ring, Georgie offers personalized 1:1 therapy sessions for women aged 18 and over, aiming to amplify confidence, ignite empowerment, and embody 'fierce compassion.'

Break Free from the Chains

Our bodies are adept at storing emotions, but sometimes, feelings get trapped, causing our nervous systems to freeze or shut down. This can manifest as numbness, hopelessness, or depression. Others might feel overwhelmed by their emotions, reacting impulsively and feeling out of control. Some have learned to manage emotions by prioritizing others' needs, a coping mechanism known as the 'fawn' response—a strategy to navigate perceived threats or danger.

Dance to Your Own Beat

In our 1:1 sessions, you'll experience an embodied approach designed to help you break free from these ingrained patterns. We'll work together to reconnect with your true self, align with your values, and pursue your goals. It's time to step into the spotlight, own your narrative, and dance to your own rhythm.

Ready to embark on this transformative journey? Reach out to Georgie and let's turn up the volume on your empowerment.

Meet the founder

Georgie is a Clinical Psychologist, Accredited Schema Therapist and a dedicated Boxing Coach with a specialist interest in body based therapies. She takes great joy from combining her dance, drama and performance background, with a deep understanding of the nervous system enabling her to produce therapeutic non-contact boxing classes with a twist.

Georgie's journey into boxing later in life, along with her lifelong passion for movement, has driven her to create a safe space for women to heal and empower themselves. Her personal experiences and mission led to her creating the Warrior Women project, which is dedicated to helping women rediscover their inner strength.

When she's not coaching or training, Georgie enjoys dancing, singing (often to Tenacious D), cooking, and spending time with friends.

Her mission is to provide a supportive community for women, using her journey to inspire and empower others.

EMPIRE FIGHTING CHANCE uses a powerful combination of non contact boxing and intensive personal support to challenge and inspire young people aged 8 to 25 years to realise their unique potential.

WARRIOR WOMEN PROJECT is proud to be affiliated with Empire Fighting Chance, Bristol, U.K., and The Conscious Combat Club in Victoria, Australia.

ENCOMPASS SOUTHWEST has been working with George from the Warrior Women project since 2023 when we were approached about non-contact boxing sessions for women supported by our Brave Spaces project. Encompass has been on a journey to provide trauma informed support to our clients and this opportunity seemed like a perfect fit.

During our first meeting, it was agreed that we would invite a variety of women, many of whom have experienced trauma, domestic abuse or sexual violence, to attend the boxing with the aim of giving them an opportunity to try something different in a controlled and safe environment.

From the outset the feedback was positive, many of the women reported feeling empowered during the sessions, some even asked for sessions to last longer! George and Lesley were highly experienced in both the effects of trauma and in the art of non-contact boxing, the women felt comfortable in their presence and told us how being part of the group supported their emotional and mental well-being.

We know that recovery does not happen in a meeting room, it takes a variety of different positive experiences and in our experience creativity is key to trauma recovery and resilience and that is what the warrior women’s project provided.
